The city of Fall River is looking for a donated tree to stand outside Government Center during the holiday season.

They are asking for a “nicely tapered spruce, fir, or pine tree measuring approximately 30 to 40 feet tall.”

Residents and property owners who have a tree that fits those parameters are encouraged to take a photo and submit it online for consideration.

The city of Providence has a similar request, as they look for two trees to stand in front of City Hall.
