A driver is facing attempted murder charges after hitting two Bridgewater State students.

The university says the driver veered toward the students during Saturday's Homecoming Weekend.  One student was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries.

The driver is an East Weymouth man in his 40s who was involved in a road-rage incident before, according to the university.  However, officials say there is no evidence he specifically targeted these two students in particular.
