Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Fall River convenience store while wearing a Halloween mask.

 

Tajuan Holloman, 55, has been charged with armed robbery while masked and assault with a dangerous weapon.

 

Officers rushed to the Discount Food Mark off Pleasant Street Sunday night after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

 

Police said the suspect, later identified as Holloman, walked into the store wearing a Ghostface mask from the movie “Scream” and threatened the clerk with what appeared to be a firearm.

 

Holloman took off with about $1,500, according to police.

Investigators reviewed the store’s surveillance footage and were able to figure out where Holloman dumped the mask, as well as what turned out to be a tire iron wrapped in a white sock.
