A 21-year-old man has died after a crash in New Bedford Friday night.

 

Crews responded to the intersection of Walnut and S. Sixth streets just before 10 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a Saturn Sedan and a motorcycle.

 

The motorcyclist, identified as Anthony Navarro Rodriguez, was found on the ground with significant injuries.

 

He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital and then airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition, according to police. He was pronounced dead on Saturday.

 

The driver of the Sedan remained on scene and was not injured.
