Find your Fall River-area polling place for the Sept. 1 state primary

Voting on Election Day will take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at polling locations across Greater Fall River.

Voters will choose candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, governor, lieutenant governor, and several other state and local offices. Because this is a primary, voters will be choosing which candidates they want to see move on to the November general election.

The primary is a little different from the November election. In September, voters are choosing which candidates they want to see move on to the general election.

Registered Democrats and Republicans will vote in their respective party’s primary, while unenrolled voters can choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot without changing their party registration.

If you are unsure of your ward or precinct, you can visit https://www.sec.state.ma.us/WhereDoIVoteMA/WhereDoIVote to find out where to vote.
