Mass. Part Of Lawsuit Against Meta

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is part of a bipartisan coalition that is announcing a 17-billion-dollar settlement with Meta.  It's over allegations that its social media platforms harmed young people.

The multistate agreement requires Meta to make big changes to its products and practices.

It also sets aside at least 366-million dollars for Massachusetts.

Campbell says the agreement is aimed at changing how Big Tech protects young users.
