A forensic psychologist says Lindsay Clancy should be held criminally responsible for killing her three children.
Dr. Kirk Heilbrun testified that Clancy was mentally ill, but understood her actions were wrong and could follow the law.
Jurors must decide whether Clancy could appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions or conform them to the law.
Defense attorney Kevin Reddington challenged Heilbrun's testimony and argued postpartum psychosis prevented Clancy from controlling her actions. Clancy admits killing her children, but is asserting an insanity defense.
