An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Fall River Wednesday night.

Officers were called to Fourth Street around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.

Police said the officers found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.

The severity of the man’s injuries is unknown at this time and it’s unclear if anyone is in custody.
