An investigation is underway after a woman and her dog were struck by a car in Fall River.

 

Police were called to the scene on Brayton Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday.

 

The woman was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries and the dog died, according to police.

 

It’s unclear if the driver is facing any charges.

 

The crash remains under investigation.
