A new referendum is allowing Massachusetts voters to decide the fate of the state's 2024 gun law.
Second Amendment groups are supporting the referendum in hopes of repealing certain firearm restrictions in Massachusetts. The 2024 law has tightened rules on ghost guns, assault-style weapons and firearm licensing.
Those who oppose the referendum say the 2024 law already protects public safety. Those who support the referendum say the 2024 law burdens lawful gun owners in the state.
