Fall River may make Letourneau Elementary a K-8, change school borders

Officials have revealed a first look a multi-year plan to redistrict the city’s schools, with Letourneau Elementary School proposed to become a K-8.

 

Fall River Public Schools officials held a series of informational forums for parents at schools throughout the city on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29, outlining what the district’s plans look like so far.

 

At Wednesday afternoon’s session held in the Talbot Middle School auditorium, interim Deputy Superintendent Elizabeth Legault, School Information Coordinator Brian Mikolazyk and other officials explained that the intent is to bring neighborhood schools back to Fall River.
