An investigation is underway into a fire that broke out in a Fairhaven apartment building Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters rushed to the Dover Street apartment building after receiving reports of flames coming from the second floor, according to Maggie Rocha of the Fairhaven Fire Department.
Rocha said the fire appears to have started on a second-floor porch and spread into the building. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
No one was injured and everyone who was inside the building at the time was able to escape, according to Rocha.
