Former Congressman Barney Frank is in hospice care at his home in Maine.
The 86-year-old spent more than three decades representing Massachusetts where he pushed liberal causes. His name is also on the Dodd-Frank Act, a signature piece of legislation that brought increased scrutiny on the nation's banking system. But now he says Democrats have gone too far, embracing a progressive agenda that "goes beyond what's politically acceptable." In an interview with Politico Tuesday, Frank said that's what's going to keep Democrats from winning.
