Fall River to change its school borders. Parents invited to forums

The public school district is continuing its plans to redraw the borders determining where students are assigned to schools, with parents invited to a series of forums this week.

 

According to a statement from interim deputy superintendent Elizabeth Legault, the meetings will be “an opportunity to hear accurate information and understand what these changes may mean,” as well as ask questions of school administrators.

 

Last year, former superintendent Tracy Curley told FRPS parents that it’s not a question of if the school district would change the borders of its assigned schools, but when and how.
