The operator of a three-wheeled motorcycle died after colliding with a dump truck Friday morning in Swansea.

 

Alan Scott, 67, of Somerset, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said Saturday.

 

The crash happened just before 8:20 a.m. Friday on Route 6 at Milford Road. The DA’s office said police arrived to find the Can-Am Spyder Roadster damaged, and video from the scene showed it was embedded in the grill of the dump truck.

 

The driver of the dump truck was not hurt, according to the DA’s office.
