Rehoboth Fire Chief Mark Haskell has been removed from the post following allegations of misconduct by the town select board.

The town said Haskell was ordered to have no involvement whatsoever in a solar project on Pond Street.

It’s because his home is across from the site, presenting a conflict of interest.

Despite those orders, Haskell went to a planning board meeting in March and spoke about the project, which wasn’t on the agenda.
