New Jersey Developers Suing Fall River

The original New Jersey Based winners of the first auction in June 2017 for the King Phillip Mill Property on Fall River's South Side are planning to sue the City of Fall River for a little over $62.5 million in a suit filed last week in Suburban New Jersey.

A group of investors who named their organization the Fall River Area Revitalization Corporation, or FRAR, recruiting Boston Based Developer Richard DeRosas as an officer of the company to present to original plans for the site and execute the winning bid.

The city of Fall River, including its Mayor and City Administrator, are being accused of alleged fraud, conspiracy, unjust enrichment and interference on behalf of the City of Fall River.
