WSAR NEWS

Following the issuance of a story on the Fall River Herald News' digital edition on Wednesday, and the Thursday Print Edition, Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia II indicated to WSAR on the Thursday Edition of the ''WSAR Newsroom'' that he would meet with editors and administrators of the newspaper after he said a story that alleged he admitted that he was aware of investigations by the FBI, HUD, and a continuing Grand Jury that could be looking into issues with SnoOwl, a product of a digital firm that Correia started when he was 19.

Correia tells WSAR that while he considered the initial story ''fair'', he had issues with the headline that appeared in the Print and Digital editions.

Correia says rumors of investigations are products of his political opponents.
